Moschino goes kinky for Fall/Winter 2018

WEARABLE KINK – The fashion world can always rely on Jeremy Scott’s Moschino to deliver an extravagant collection. Their fall/winter 2018 menswear collection is no exception. Going heavy on glossy latex, leather, suspenders and strappy BDSM gear enveloped in black, Scott envisioned a concept of gender fluidity, expressed through kinky and sexy clothes that showed a lot of skin.

True, this is not the first time that the fashion industry has seen a bondage-inspired collection, but it was still rare to see the theme softly imbued into dinner jackets and shirts. In a way, he made fetish fashion look wearable. One question, however, still stands: Will people actually wear a halfconstructed pinstripe jacket with only the bottom-half sleeves connected via a black strap? Maybe not initially, but what is considered normal is now hotly contested.
