The art space offers contemporary artists a platform to explore new expressive forms and bring to life their artistic dreams. Each year two artists are invited to exhibit their works of art based on a particular theme is meant to provoke the public regarding certain key issues and give new point-of-views to the matter. Also keeping in line with Fondation d’entreprise Hermès’ commitment to provide French artists worldwide a space to exhibit their art pieces internationally.

One of the latest artists set to present their works at Aloft is Minjung Kim, a Korean born artist who now lives and works in France. From the age of six, Minjung began her artistic journey studying various styles from watercoloring, oriental calligraphy and analyzed the works of Western artists influenced by oriental paintings. By combining western and oriental art techniques she created a personal style that is abstract yet reminiscent of nature. Her works on mulberry Hanji paper resembles that of a cascading mountainscape, a scenary many of us that live in a hectic, technology engulfed-life long to see.

The exhibition titled Oneness will begin from April 27 until July 30 Aloft at Hermès, 541 Orchard Road, Liat Towers, Singapore.
