Mexican food is so unique and varied that UNESCO has declared it a cultural treasure.  So, if you haven&#8217;t had the refreshing sparkle of a glass of margarita or indulged in the mouth-watering taste of a fresh, pungent taco with spicy salsa and guacamole in a while, then September 15 to 21 is your lucky week.  September 16 is Mexican National Day.
It&#8217;s a buffet-style setup and will also include Mexican favorites that are very hard to find anywhere else Asia, such as tamales and <a href="http://tidbitsofhappy.com/2010/04/23/fiesta-gorditas/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">gorditas</a>. Expect lots of corn tortillas, beans, Mexican rice and other hot favorites, which may include <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BeLQNnDYFUk" target="_blank" rel="noopener">chile relleno</a> and <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atH0D1FuWt0&amp;feature=related" target="_blank" rel="noopener">chicken mole</a>.
Pacific Restaurant &amp; Lounge at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Pacific Place, Jakarta is celebrating Mexican National Day by serving fresh Mexican food from noon to 2:30 p.m. for lunch and 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. for dinner.
