<h2>Bali&#8217;s KU DE TA restaurant and lounge will play host to the annual &#8220;I&#8217;m An Angel&#8221; fundraising party to support social programs. Held on June 18, guests to the party will be treated to a musical performance from Electric Empire, an array of food from six famous chefs and a chance to win Mercedes-Benz&#8217;s &#8220;smart fortwo&#8221; Passion Cabriolet.</h2>

<p>Since it was first founded eight years ago, the Bali-based nonprofit foundation, <a href="http://www.imanangel.org" target="_blank" rel="noopener">I&#8217;m An Angel</a>, has been working to improve the lives of not just the less fortunate in Bali and some of the villages in remote areas around the country, but also victims of the earthquake in Padang, West Sumatra.</p>
<p>In recent years, I&#8217;m An Angel has been collaborating with <a href="http://www.kudeta.net" target="_blank" rel="noopener">KU DE TA</a> to hold an annual fundraising event. In 2010 alone, US$97,000 was successfully raised from the proceeds of ticket sales, auctions and raffles. Featuring a show-stopping band, six renowned chefs and one trendy car, this year&#8217;s party will surely surpass the success of the previous events.</p>

<p>The 2011 charity party will be graced by Electric Empire. Band members Dennis Dowlut, Jason Heerah and Aaron Mendoza are established in Australia&#8217;s music scene. Fusing jazz and R&amp;B with old school funk and soul, the band has won the hearts of its audience and fellow artists alike, sharing the stage with Brand New Heavies and performing in director Baz Luhrmann&#8217;s Christmas party.</p>

<p>The event will also bring out the collaboration between six well-known chefs: Tippling Club Singapore&#8217;s Ryan Clift (pictured above), Oberoi Bali&#8217;s Enrico Wahl, Sarong Restaurant&#8217;s Will Meyrick, St Regis Bali&#8217;s Oscar Perez and Room4Dessert New York&#8217;s Will Goldfarb. Each of them has agreed to help KU DE TA&#8217;s resident chef Phil Davenport to serve guests with their signature dishes.</p>

<p>Another highlight of the event will be the announcement of the winner of a light blue smart fortwo Passion Cabriolet, generously donated by Mercedes-Benz Indonesia. By purchasing tickets for Rp 100,000 each, or Rp 900,000 for a party of 10, guests can win the world&#8217;s most sought-after micro automobile, complete with insurance.</p>
