When last year’s #HMBALMAINATION was about (much affordable) glamour and Kendall Jenner, this year’s Kenzo and H&M‘s collaboration focuses more on celebrating quirkiness and relatability
In September, Kenzo has unveiled the brand ambassadors who will grace the ad campaign of its collaborative collection. Besides Iman and Chance the Rapper, Kenzo has opted for lesser-known celebrities from different parts of the world.
Similarly, the lookbook, which has been revealed recently, features heavily on multi-cultural “real people,” including photographer Youngjun Koo, rapper Le1f and musician Oko Ebombo, in addition to models Tom Gaskin and Pierre Painchaud.
Seeing the non-models Koo, Le1f and Ebombo in the lookbook definitely adds to the relatability factor of the collection, whose bold tiger and leopard prints may scare some people off.
The collection, which will hit stores both online and physical on November 3, will consist of fall essentials such as coats and jackets, as well as cool accessories, like cross-body bags, socks, flip-flops, visor sunglasses and beanies among others.
