Kenzo’s ad campaigns are not to be taken lightly, we know this now
And now Kenzo has announced that it has tapped iconic photographer Jean-Paul Goude to helm the upcoming ad campaign of its collaborative collection with H&M. What’s more, the campaign will be fronted by not one, not two, but seven personalities. Like, heavy-duty personalities. We’re talking legendary supermodel Iman and Hollywood actresses Rosario Dawson and Chloë Sevigny. Also included in the list of ambassadors are international musicians, namely Ryuichi Sakamoto from Japan, Suboi from Vietnam and Xiuhtezcatl Martinez and Chance the Rapper from U.S.A.
“We love to work with our idols, and Jean-Paul Goude is a true icon. His images for Kenzo x H&M are incredible, and capture the personality, positivity and freedom of the collection,” says Humberto Leon and Carol Lim of Kenzo in an official statement. Goude reciprocates the sentiment. “Working with H&M and Carol and Humberto on the Kenzo x H&M campaign is a real adventure,” he says. “I love the attitude that they have brought to the collection, and their youth, energy, fun and style.”
The campaign will be fully unveiled on October 17, ahead of the collection’s launch on November 3. While waiting, check out the behind-the-scenes video above and some of the teaser GIFs below:
Update: Kenzo released a non-GIF teaser of the campaign featuring Chance the Rapper.
