It was the day of revelation, as Apple introduced not only iPhone 7, but also Apple Watch Series 2 and, along with it, the new styles of Apple Watch Hermès
Like its predecessor, the latest collection is distinctly Hermès; it features the brand’s signature handcrafted leather bands and watch faces that are based on Clipper, Cape Cod and Espace Hermès timepieces.
Both Apple and Hermès also dig deeper into the latter’s archive for more inspirations. The Double Buckle Cuff style, for instance, is much influenced by one of Hermès’ iconic sandals, designed by footwear designer Pierre Hardy (Side note: Hermès has acquired a stake in Hardy’s eponymous label earlier in July). This style is available in Etoupe Swift Leather, and comes with a 38mm stainless steel case.
Additional colors: Rose Jaipur and Bleu Agate.
The Single Tour Deployment Buckle version, meanwhile, is offered in Fauve Barenia Leather with a 42mm stainless steel case. It’s also completed with two side buttons, which can open a hidden deployment buckle when clicked.
With extra-long band, the Double Tour is made to be wrapped twice around the wrist. The 38mm style is available in Etoupe Swift Leather or Fauve Barenia Leather.
Additional colors: Anémone, Rose Jaipur and Bleu Agate.
An homage to Hermès’ iconic design, the Single Tour style comes with a buckle that is reminiscent of the brand’s equestrian heritage. The watch is available in three types: the Rose Jaipur Epsom Leather with a 38mm stainless steel case; the Fauve Barenia Leather with 38mm and 42mm stainless steel cases; and Feu Epsom Leather with a 42mm stainless steel case.
Additional colors: Etoupe, Anémone and Bleu Agate.
Apple Watch Hermès is available for pre-order starting September 9.
