COOL COLORS. Hautlence has the habit of pulling out surprises
Following the departure of co-founder Guillaume Tetu, the brand is now helmed by Sandro Reginelli, the new CEO and another one of the brand’s original co-founders.
Their partnership with ex-footballer Eric Cantona brought out a mosaic-like watch. Called the Vortex Primary, the watch features a mind-bogglingly complex mechanism: the vertically aligned jumping hour at 9 o’clock, a retrograde minute at 12 o’clock and a rotating movement at 6 o’clock fitted with little tiles in primary colors—red, blue and yellow.
Those colors are also innovatively used on the sapphire crystals, which, according to Cantona, will reflect a wide range of hues under the sun—maybe green or even pink.
That’s one surprise you got to find out yourself.
