Guess introduces its inaugural gender-free line, and it’s called His & Hers
We’ve always thought the whole idea of genderless clothes is that it should be free of any gender-signifying label, so the fact that Guess calls the line “His & Hers” made us wonder for a while.
Regardless of the name, we do like the collection, although it’s quite far from Guess‘ usual sexy image. Described as masculine and feminine at the same time, the collection is dominated by pastel tones with a hint of black and gray here and there. Basic T-shirts, button-down shirts, blazers, jeans and loungewear make up the collection.
Appearing as toned-down as the collection is the Yu Tsai-photographed ad, which features models Damon Nelson and Anastasia Eremenko.
The collection will be available at Guess stores and online starting October 3.
