Another fashion book is coming this year, courtesy of Italian fashion house Fendi. Published to celebrate the maison’s anniversary, the book will chronicle Fendi’s history from 90 years ago until today
Entitled “Fendi Roma,” the book includes more than 300 illustrations and photos of all things related to Fendi. There are, for example, sketches by Karl Lagerfeld, photographs of the Fendi family, images from inside the brand’s headquarters in Rome, pictures of ad campaigns, etc.
“There is a fil rouge running trough our history,” says Fendi president and CEO Pietro Beccari, as quoted from WWD. “Fendi has always been rooted in an idea of pure, sometimes exaggerated luxury, but always filtered through a playful, irreverent lens.”
“Fendi Roma” will consist of 272 pages and come in hardcover format. It will be available at Fendi stores and selected bookstores starting from September.
