<p>Hedi Slimane, who took over as the creative director of the legendary designer’s famed fashion house, now renamed Saint Laurent Paris, is looking to maintain the brand’s association with the world of rock with the Saint Laurent Music Project. Calling upon the many famous musicians who he has worked with in the past, Slimane has created a portrait series that shows the still vital relationship between high fashion and rock ‘n’ roll. One of the latest additions to the project is French electronic music duo Thomas Bangalter and Guy Manuel de Homem-Christo, better known as mega hitmakers Daft Punk. In the shots, the robot rockers sport signature Saint Laurent Black Glitter ‘Le Smoking’ jackets. Other notable musicians taking part in the Project include rockers Marilyn Manson, Courtney Love,Kim Gordon and Ariel Pink.</p>
