Following the news about the next season of “American Crime Story,” which will focus on Gianni Versace murder, the late designer’s sister and current creative director Donatella is set to tell her own story to the public.
The book will be called “Versace;” a simple title that belies the rich content.

WWD reports that, through “secret anecdotes, runway pictures and exclusive backstage shots,” the book will document Donatella Versace’s career after she took over the brand in 1997, after her brother’s untimely death.
A number of notable names will also make an appearance in the book. Photographs by the likes of Irving Penn and Steven Meisel will be featured along pictures of supermodels and celebrities in Versace.
