Fresh after their sensational futuristic Men&#8217;s show in Tokyo, Dior is ready to make the headlines again with the official launch of their special holiday release, the Dior Cruise 2019 &#8211; Toile de Jouy collection.

Presented for the first time last May, a plethora of items from shoes, bags, scarves even stuffed animals and plates are all given the vintage &#8220;toile de jouy&#8221; printed pattern. Motifs that you would usually find on your grandmother&#8217;s plates or tapestries, are now applied on luxury fashion items &#8211; but instead of old European town and its inhabitants, it&#8217;s the jungle and its animal kingdom this time.

Understandably, with pieces like pumps, dolls, jewelries and WOCs (and the fact it&#8217;s designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri) one can&#8217;t help to think the collection is aimed at women. Although, some of them are too fabulous for us men to resist. Pieces like the iconic Dior saddle bag, the library tote, or even the foulard &#8211; surely you can&#8217;t say no to that pattern around your neck.
