BRING IN THE NEW. Dior Homme looks to British synthpop duo of Petshop Boys and actor Charlie Plummer to launch its Spring-Summer 2018 collection
To welcome in its new Spring-Summer 2018 collection, Dior Homme’s latest campaign not only features the music of Petshop Boys, but also features the synthpop duo of Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe. Shot by photographer David Sims under the artistic direction of Dior Homme’s Kris Van Assche, the ad campaign explores the themes of youth and young manhood, which seems to be a recurring concept for many fashion brands this year. Will this be a returning theme throughout the year? We’ll just have to wait and see.
Returning to the campaign at hand, besides the Petshop Boys, the campaign also features models Henry Rausch, Andreas Wolf, and Anton Jaeger as well as actor Charlie Plummer. Following the styling ques of Mauricio Nardi, the collection chosen for the campaign highlights Van Assche’s soft approach to black tailoring as well as collegiate-inspired statement pieces and for some reason all seems to come together with red roses. Take a look at the full fashion video campaign to know what we mean.
