“Collaboration, playfulness and innovative design are in our DNA,” says designer Christopher Raeburn of his eponymous brand. And Raeburn gets to realize all three in his brand’s latest collaborative collection with Disney
The fashion brands’ fascination with Disney hasn’t ended yet, it seems. We’ve seen multiple collaborations with Disney in the past, but this one may be the most accurate and sustainable.
Raeburn’s collaborative collection with Disney consists of bags in the shape of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Available in leather and denim, the bags are designed and developed for 12 months by Raeburn, his team and a Disney character artist to ensure that Mickey and Minnie are represented in the most accurate way. That’s how serious Raeburn is about this collection.
True to Christopher Raeburn‘s design philosophy, the bags are also sustainable, as they are created from ethically-sourced nappa leather and organic European milled indigo denim. Moreover, they also come with reusable gift boxes, made from 100% recycled materials.
The bags are already available on the brand’s website, ahead of their London Fashion Week debut. Also found on the website are a series of images promoting the collaborative collection, which feature the winner of “Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 3,” Indonesia’s own Ayu Gani.
