The success of Calvin Klein’s recent jeans and underwear campaigns have once again brought the spotlight upon the brand, and with all attention focused his way, Raf Simons takes the opportunity to launch his latest designs for Calvin Klein 205W39NYC. Still pertaining his love-affair with western-inspired classic Americana style, the ready-to-wear collection explores Hollywood and cinema as his base of reference.

In his own words, the Belgian designer has gone on to say, “It’s about American horror and American beauty,” to interpret his design concept. He went on to say, “Fashion tries to hide the horror and embrace only beauty. But they are both a part of life. This collection is a celebration of that: a celebration of American life.”

As for the campaign of the new collection, Simons has recruited quite the list of models, totaling 20 fresh faces and seasoned veterans to showcase his latest stylings. Photographer Willy Vanderperre is trusted to be the one behind the lens and capture the American essence of the collection. Shot in and around a weathered barn that some may recall from previous Calvin Klein campaigns, several of the images also feature a selection of vintage, one-of-a-kind quilts which have become a key motif of recent campaigns. Several of the quilts motifs have even made it on several pieces in the collection. When it comes to fashion, it seems that Calvin Klein has you covered this spring/summer season.
