<h2 style="text-align: left;">For the first time in Asia, American street artist <a href="http://www.burtonmachen.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Burton Machen</a> is going to exhibit his Portraits Project. The exhibition kicks off at Singapore&#8217;s Vue Privée gallery on September 10.</h2>

Burton Machen is a U.S.-based street artist who photographs unique street art and urban decadence in big cities such as Los Angeles and New York. His recent work, PORTRAITS PROJECT involves circulating a series of human portraits in public areas and documenting the &#8220;evolution&#8221; that the portraits went through as passersby, other street artists and the weather affects them.
In doing so, Machen hopes to capture the public&#8217;s sentiment that he thinks is hidden underneath the &#8216;conversations&#8217; that people and the portraits had.
