RETRO RACER. Bell & Ross timepieces are not only recognized for resembling flight instruments but also for its connection to speed
If there’s anything that’s typical of Bell & Ross—aside from flight instruments, that is—it would be a watch collection celebrating highly complicated speed machines. After creating the B-Rocket and the Aero-GT earlier this year, the French maison introduces the Bellytanker. The name originates from the ’40s and ’50s refering to the extra fuel tanks once fitted to the belly of fighter planes that have been transformed to have a second lease on life as a high-speed race car.
The new BR V1-92 Bellytanker comes with its rustic and vintage feel, and is created as a limited edition of only 500 pieces. Powered by the Calibre BR-CAL.302., the BR V1-92 features a self-winding mechanism, an additional date function and is complemented by brown calfskin leather strap on the outside or a satin-polished steel as pictured above.
