For jewelry company David Yurman
David Yurman was looking to create a “disruptive” new campaign, something that will have a “broad appeal,” as stated in an official statement. So, for obvious reasons, the brand went to the iconic Bruce Weber.
The team-up between David Yurman and Weber has resulted in a campaign film that is inspired by a vintage home video, which stars Natalia Vodianova and Alexandre. The “home video” sees the two models–and a baby–play a family in what seems to be a peaceful outing.
Called “It Had to be You, Natalia,” the film is one of six campaign movies that will be launched by the brand. “The short films Bruce shot are a nod to vintage home movies that capture the essence of the family portrait, which is so important to the brand,” says Gabriella Forte, CEO of David Yurman.
No stranger to supermodels (Kate Moss and Giselle had fronted its ads in the past), the other films and images from the current campaign also feature Jean Campbell, Dilone and more big names.
